Ken Feaster is currently a real estate attorney with the Delaware Department of Justice, representing the Delaware Department of Transportation. He graduated from law school in 2002 and has been practicing real estate law since 2003. He had been in private practice until joining the Delaware DOJ in 2017. He has been teaching real estate classes since 2014, including pre-licensing, continuing education, and brokers’ courses.

Ruth Vella became a realtor in 1968. She opened her own office, Heritage Realty in 1973 which was then acquired by Fox & Lazo in 1992. Ruth was named Instructor of the Year in 1996 by the New Castle County Board of Realtors. As an active Real Estate Broker, she has managed her own office as well as other real estate offices for over 28 years. She was an instructor for the National Association of Realtors where she taught Certified Residential Brokerage course as well as other coursework presented by NAR affiliates and State Conventions. She founded the Omega Real Estate School located in New Castle County and has been an instructor for the Pre-Licensing Courses at Delaware State University, Wilmington University and The Realtor Institute and various brokerages throughout Delaware.

Jim Madgey had a 40 year career in education as a teacher, counselor, and administrator in the School District of Philadelphia. His teaching experience included a year teaching in London, England and being a mathematics team leader for a staff of 30 teachers. Since retiring to the Rehoboth Beach area Jim has successfully taught over 25 Real Estate Licensing and Brokerage classes with a 99% success rate. He began his real estate career in 2009, when he managed several rental properties. He had over $4,000,000 in sales during his last year as a full time Realtor®.
